Taffy's Pet Treasures has many unusual one-of-a-kind items. They are illustrated with light hearted designs & sometimes comical animals that I love to draw. My pastel pet portrait pictures are hanging on walls all over the U.S. — even as far away as Alaska! As a pet lover myself it was natural to gravitate to dog art, & cat art primarily. Although I paint all animals & all breeds, Cresteds are my specialty. Many of these portraits are available as limited edition prints. An original portrait is the perfect gift for the pet lover whether you immortalize a new puppy, a long time companion, or a memorial picture tribute.

My background includes 23 years as an Educator & 25 years as an Activity Professional in a senior health care & independent community setting. My parents were imigrants who believed strongly in education & sent me to Pratt Institute, N.Y. to study art from age 8 to 16. From there I went to Washington University, St. Louis, MO, West Virginia University & Ferrum College in VA. I have been a professional pet artist for the last decade & have done hundreds of portraits of all breeds.

My work hand painting trophies, designing logos & special event t-shirts , painting pet portraits on crystal, fabric & ceramics, & my pastel pet portraits are well known among Crested people especially in Nashville at the Chinese Crested Specialties. You can usually find me at my vendor table or in the dog show ring.
